KUWAIT CITY, Oct. 20 (Xinhua) -- Kuwait's government announced on Wednesday the entry to the last phase of the five-phase plan for a gradual return to normal life, easing health restrictions in the country.

Kuwait's government decided to allow people to do outdoor activities without wearing masks from Oct. 24, the government spokesman Tareq Al-Mezrem said at a press conference.

The airports are allowed to operate with their full capacity, and the government will issue entry visas of all types for the fully vaccinated arrivals, he said.

In addition, government will permit entry to mosques with full capacity for the vaccinated worshippers from Oct. 22.

Meanwhile, weddings, press conferences, and social events are allowed to be held for the fully vaccinated people, the spokesman noted.

Although commercial outlets are permitted to operate with their full capacity, people still need to wear masks indoors.

In May 2020, Kuwait revealed a five-phase plan for returning to normal life in the country.

In August 2020, Kuwait entered the fourth phase of the plan, under which businesses such as tailors, beauty and hairdressing salons, health clubs, restaurants and cafes resumed their activities after five months of closure.
